Please mark your calendars for the 2007 KAPS Annual Convention to be held in September in Lexington, KY. With all the changes that are occurring with the revision of IDEA law, the pressure of high stakes testing, and the limited resources of our school districts, school psychologists can play a pivotal role in the success of schools. However, that may require changing how we "do business". Defining a new role for ourselves requires that we understand and learn from our past and present.

The convention will highlight many renowned professionals from across the state and the nation. KAPS will also be turning 30 in 2007 and plans for the birthday festivities are in full swing. Mark your calendars now and come experience the opportunity to celebrate, network, discover and relax for three days: September 19-21, 2007!
