Field Training Opportunities

A variety of field placements are available within easy commuting distance of Richmond.   Practicum sites have included private psychiatric and V.A. hospitals, the University counseling center, a residential treatment facility for children, alcohol and drug abuse treatment programs, and several adult and child outpatient mental health centers.  Students have completed internships in Kentucky as well as many other states, depending upon their particular interests and needs.
