INDUSTRIAL-ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

THE PRACTICUM PROJECT

The purpose of the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Practicum Project (PSY 843) is to provide Master’s degree candidates with “hands-on” experience developing and delivering cost effective human resources and organizational development-related activities, research, and programs to local organizations.

During the second year of the program, students work in small teams to complete one project during the fall and one during the spring.  Thus, upon graduation, students have worked for (at least) two client companies. Additionally, this looks great on a resume.
